Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 19, 2026

247ATL Weddings respects the privacy of the couples, families, guests, and visitors who use our website and services.

This Privacy Policy explains how 247ATL Weddings ("247ATL Weddings," "247ATL," "we," "our," or "us") may collect, use, maintain, disclose, and protect information obtained through our website, booking process, communications, ceremonies, and related services.

By using our website or submitting information to us, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

The information we collect depends upon how you interact with 247ATL Weddings.

Information You Provide

When you contact us, request information, make a reservation, purchase services, or communicate with our staff or officiants, we may collect information such as:

  • your name;
  • your partner's name;
  • email address;
  • telephone number;
  • mailing address, when necessary;
  • ceremony date and time;
  • ceremony location or format;
  • selected wedding package and any add-ons;
  • guest information you choose to provide;
  • ceremony preferences;
  • officiant preferences;
  • marriage-license status and issuing county;
  • special requests and accommodations;
  • the city and state where you will be located during a virtual ceremony;
  • communications between you and 247ATL Weddings; and
  • other information you voluntarily provide.

We ask that you not provide sensitive personal information unless it is reasonably necessary for the services you request. Our booking process does not request Social Security numbers, driver's-license numbers, or payment-card details.

2. Marriage License and Ceremony Information

Certain information may be provided to or reviewed by an officiant in connection with performing and documenting a legal marriage ceremony.

This may include information appearing on a marriage license or other information reasonably necessary to perform the ceremony and complete applicable officiant responsibilities.

247ATL Weddings may maintain appropriate records concerning ceremonies performed for legitimate business, administrative, legal, and recordkeeping purposes.

Marriage licenses and official governmental marriage records may be subject to separate laws and procedures governing their issuance, filing, maintenance, and public availability.

3. Booking Information

When you book a ceremony, we collect the information reasonably necessary to:

  • schedule your ceremony;
  • determine availability;
  • communicate with you;
  • assign or coordinate an officiant;
  • process applicable charges;
  • provide requested services; and
  • maintain appropriate business records.

A reservation is confirmed once the required payment or deposit has been received. Booking and confirmation are governed by our Terms of Service.

4. Payment Information

Payments are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Full credit- and debit-card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe and are not stored by 247ATL Weddings.

247ATL Weddings may receive transaction-related information such as:

  • your name;
  • amount paid;
  • transaction date;
  • payment status;
  • transaction or confirmation number;
  • the last four digits or other limited information concerning the payment method; and
  • refund or dispute information.

Saved payment methods. Certain packages require a deposit at booking with the balance due seven days before the ceremony. If you choose to have that balance charged automatically, your payment method is stored securely by Stripe — not by 247ATL Weddings — and is charged only for the balance you agreed to at booking. You may change or cancel that arrangement at any time before the charge is made by contacting us.

Stripe maintains its own privacy and security practices.

5. How We Use Information

247ATL Weddings may use information collected through the website and our services to:

  • respond to inquiries;
  • process and confirm bookings;
  • schedule and coordinate ceremonies;
  • communicate with couples before and after their ceremony;
  • assign and coordinate officiants and staff;
  • process payments, deposits, balances, and refunds;
  • provide customer service;
  • personalize ceremony services;
  • maintain records concerning ceremonies performed;
  • communicate important changes or scheduling information;
  • operate, maintain, and improve our website and services;
  • prevent fraud, misuse, and security incidents;
  • comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements;
  • resolve disputes and enforce our agreements;
  • maintain appropriate business records; and
  • advertise and promote 247ATL Weddings as permitted by our agreements and applicable law.

6. Photographs, Video, Likeness, and Recordings

Wedding ceremonies and activities associated with 247ATL Weddings may be photographed, videotaped, livestreamed, or otherwise recorded.

Promotional use requires your separate consent. As provided in the 247ATL Weddings Terms of Service, we use a couple's photographs, video, images, voice, appearance, or likeness for advertising, marketing, or promotional purposes only where the couple has given separate, optional consent during booking. That consent is not required in order to book a ceremony, and declining it does not affect the services provided.

Where consent has been given, such materials may appear on:

  • the 247ATL Weddings website;
  • social-media accounts;
  • promotional videos;
  • digital advertising;
  • printed advertisements;
  • brochures;
  • venue promotional materials; and
  • other advertising or promotional media.

You may withdraw that consent. A couple may request at any time, before or after the ceremony, that their photographs, video, or likeness not be used for promotional purposes. Such a request should be made in writing and will be honored going forward.

Virtual ceremonies are recorded. Virtual ceremonies conducted by video are recorded as part of the service. Recordings are retained for 90 days and are not used for promotional purposes without the couple's separate consent. An edited copy of a recording is available to the couple for an additional fee.

Livestreaming. Where a livestream is provided, the ceremony is transmitted to anyone holding the link the couple has shared. 247ATL Weddings does not control who a couple shares that link with.

247ATL Weddings does not intend to publish marriage licenses, Social Security numbers, financial account information, payment-card information, private contact information, or similar sensitive information as part of its advertising.

Guests attending ceremonies should understand that photography or video recording may occur. Specific requests concerning a guest who does not wish to be intentionally featured in promotional material should be communicated to 247ATL Weddings before the ceremony whenever reasonably possible.

7. Communications

We may use the contact information you provide to send communications concerning:

  • bookings and reservation confirmations;
  • payment and refund confirmations;
  • ceremony reminders;
  • marriage-license reminders;
  • scheduling changes;
  • requests for additional ceremony information;
  • customer-service matters;
  • follow-up communications and review requests; and
  • other information directly related to services you have requested.

Where permitted by law and consistent with your communication preferences, we may also send information about 247ATL Weddings services, special events, packages, or promotions.

You may request that we discontinue nonessential promotional communications. Transactional or service-related communications necessary to administer an existing reservation may continue even if you opt out of promotional communications.

Email is delivered through SendGrid, a third-party email service provider.

8. Text Messages

When you book a ceremony you consent to receive text messages concerning your booking. We use Twilio to deliver text messages.

  • Purpose. Texts are used for booking confirmations, scheduling, ceremony reminders, and customer service related to your reservation.
  • Message frequency. Message frequency varies depending on your booking and the services requested.
  • Rates. Message and data rates imposed by your wireless carrier may apply.
  • Opting out. You may reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for assistance. You may also contact us directly.
  • Consent. Consent to receive promotional text messages is not required as a condition of purchasing services.
  • Delivery. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

9. Officiants

Your officiant receives the information necessary to perform your ceremony, including your names, contact information, ceremony details, and any special requests you have provided. Couples may contact their officiant directly with questions.

Officiants who are not employees of 247ATL Weddings are required to use that information only for the purpose of performing and coordinating your ceremony.

10. Information We Share

247ATL Weddings does not sell personal information.

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to companies or individuals that help us operate our business and provide services, and where required by law or to protect legal rights.

These providers receive information only as reasonably necessary for the services they perform, subject to their respective agreements, privacy practices, and applicable law.

Because technology providers may change as our services develop, this Policy will be updated when we make a material change to the providers we use.

This Policy will be updated as appropriate when material new tracking or advertising technologies are implemented.

14. Social Media

247ATL Weddings may maintain profiles or pages on social-media platforms.

Information you voluntarily submit, post, comment on, tag, or otherwise share through a social-media platform may be governed by both this Privacy Policy and the privacy practices of the applicable social-media company.

Information you make publicly available through social media may be visible to others.

15. Links to Other Websites

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services, including county probate courts.

247ATL Weddings does not control the privacy practices of independent third-party websites.

16. Information Security

247ATL Weddings uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These include encrypted transmission, restricted administrative access, and database access controls.

However, no website, email system, Internet transmission, electronic storage system, or payment system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Users should exercise appropriate care when transmitting sensitive information electronically.

17. Data Retention

247ATL Weddings may retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • provide requested services;
  • maintain ceremony and transaction records;
  • comply with legal or recordkeeping obligations;
  • resolve disputes;
  • prevent fraud;
  • enforce agreements; and
  • maintain legitimate business records.

Different categories of information are retained for different periods, and deletion is carried out automatically once a period ends:

  • Booking and payment records: three years after the ceremony date.
  • Records of emails and text messages we sent: twelve months.
  • Administrator activity records: two years.
  • Recordings of virtual ceremonies: 90 days.

Information that is no longer reasonably required may be deleted, anonymized, or securely disposed of consistent with our business practices and applicable law.

18. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly solicit personal information directly from children through the website for independent commercial purposes.

Children may, however, attend wedding ceremonies and may incidentally appear in event photographs or video.

Parents and legal guardians should notify 247ATL Weddings in advance of any specific privacy concerns regarding children attending a ceremony.

You may contact 247ATL Weddings to request that we:

  • provide information about personal information you have submitted to us;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • update your contact information;
  • delete certain information when appropriate;
  • withdraw consent for promotional use of your photographs, video, or likeness; or
  • discontinue certain promotional communications.

Some information may need to be retained despite a deletion request when reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, maintain transaction or ceremony records, resolve disputes, protect legal rights, prevent fraud, or fulfill other legitimate business purposes.

A privacy request will not necessarily require removal of material that 247ATL Weddings is legally entitled to retain or use pursuant to an applicable agreement, authorization, or law.

20. Do Not Sell or Share Personal Information

247ATL Weddings does not sell personal information, and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
